Business Development Manager - @Dalma
Dalma is the first digital pet insurance offering flexible plans and reimbursements within 48 hours. Founded in France in 2021, more than 60,000 dog and cat parents now rely on Dalma’s strong health coverage. That makes us one of the fastest-growing pet insurance providers in Europe.
Here’s what we’ve achieved in just three years:
- Over 60,000 happy pet parents insured (4.6/5 on Trustpilot)
- Raised €20 million in our Series B
- Built a team of 70+ animal lovers with offices in Paris and Berlin
We’re now looking for support in Business Development for our German team. Specifically, you’ll lead the expansion of our partner program for dog trainers, breeders, and veterinarians.
⭐️ What you'll be doing:
- You’ll be the go-to person for our partners and build strong, lasting relationships.
- You’ll manage our partner program and develop new strategies for its expansion.
- You’ll analyze market and user data to identify and leverage growth opportunities.
- You’ll lead and execute projects independently — from small initiatives to larger-scale efforts.
- You’ll create reports and insights that inform strategic decisions.
- You’ll work closely with the French team to align and achieve shared goals.

🫵 What we’re looking for:
- You have at least 2 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, Account Management, or B2B Sales.
- You’re a native German speaker and fluent in English, with excellent writing skills and perfect spelling.
- You’re comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- You’re communicative, proactive, and enjoy working both independently and in a team.
- You’re ambitious, goal-oriented, and always up for a challenge!
Bonus points if:
- You’ve worked with Hubspot, Looker, and Google tools before.
- You love cats and dogs (or both!).
👫 Our recruitment process:
- Intro call with Arnaud (RevOps Manager) to talk about your motivation, past experience, and more details about the role (30 mins, in English)
- Completion of a take-home case study, followed by an in-person presentation at our Berlin office to Nik (Head of Marketing) and Arnaud to dive deeper into your approach and the role (1 hour, in English)
- Team meet & greet in Berlin and a chat with a team member from France to make sure it’s a great culture fit (1 hour, in English)
