What will you be doing?
You will support the R&D team in the development of InSpek’s sensors. You will integrate and tailor data solutions that support product development and provide results for customers.
Responsibilities
Data analysis and model development:
- Develop chemometric techniques to improve data analysis, efficiency, and accuracy.
- Implement methods to analyze large datasets.
- Clean data and optimize data treatment for better accuracy and reliability.
- Develop new tools to visualize data
- Innovate new chemometric interpretation blocks for understanding underlying chemistry and biology (PCA, PLS,...)
Data strategy:
- Expand the company’s data-driven approach, enhancing product capabilities and customer satisfaction.
- Write detailed reports and maintain records of methodologies and results for internal development and compliance.
Competencies
You need to manage and analyse complex and large data sets with high accuracy. You will be able to develop algorithms and chemometrics to optimize op+cal information from bioproduction and pharmaceutical processes. You have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
- MSc + 2 years of relevant experience in chemometrics / spectroscopic data science; or a PhD
- Proficiency in Python and/or other programming language, including data-handling packages
- Experience working with spectroscopic data
- Very good communication skills, both in articulating technical concepts to clients and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Effective project management and organizational skills to coordinate with various stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes
- Proficiency in English, French is a plus
- Good comprehension of bioproduction and pharmaceutical processes is a plus
