What will you be doing?
You will support customers and the Sales team as a technical application expert. In this role, you will use your experience in analytical instrumentation and process analytical technologies (PAT) to maintain customer support and satisfaction, by implementing InSpek’s on-chip sensors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct tests and measurements both in-house and at customer sites.
- Operate independently with minimal supervision.
- Effectively communicate issues, as well as customer requirements and expectations.
- Demonstrate the ability and confidence to troubleshoot electrical, programming, optical, and mechanical parts of the system.
More specifically
- Product demonstrations:
- Perform hands-on operation of hardware and software tools to meet client specifications.
- Perform and supervise installation and analysis of sensor system at client sites.
- Organize and conduct training sessions for clients both on and off site
- Customer assistance:
- Develop an understanding of client requirements and challenges, delivering our solutions and supporting the clients.
- Project management:
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure project deliverables align with timelines and quality standards.
- Assist in preparing detailed reports documenting experiment results, product issues, and resolution steps.
- Cross-functional collabora+on: work closely with R&D and Sales teams to refine products and address technical queries.
• Leadership and guidance: provide technical leadership in project settings, guiding teams towards achieving business and technical milestones.
• Continuous learning and development: stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in PAT to enhance service delivery.
Competencies
- MSc (or equivalent experience) in analytical chemistry, biotechnology, engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an engineer working with analytical instrumentation and/or process analytical technology (PAT)
• Good comprehension of bioproduction and pharmaceutical processes.
• Proficiency in English (French is a plus).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
• Effective project management and organizational skills to coordinate with various
stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes
• Excellent communication skills, both in articulating technical concepts to clients and
collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Availability to travel in and out of France.
• Raman spectroscopy experience is a plus.
